The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday night, announced 212 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-71, Imo-26, Plateau-26, FCT-19, Ondo-17, Kaduna-14, Rivers-9, Oyo-9, Katsina-6, Osun-4, Bauchi-2, Ekiti-2-, Nasarawa-2, Ogun-2, Kano-1, Kwara-1 and Taraba-1.
The agency said no new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,162.
The data from the agency disclosed that 53 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 60,790 while 2,776 cases were still active in the country.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 64,728.
