Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 189 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 57,145 cases.
The agency also confirmed one death as the fatality figure increased from 1,094 on Friday night to 1,095 on Saturday night.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-70, Plateau-37, FCT-24, Kaduna-19, Rivers-12, Oyo-5, Ogun-4, Ebonyi-3, Katsina-3, Ondo-3, Osun-3, Imo-2, Yobe-2, Ekiti-1 and Nasarawa-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that there were 7,619 active cases while 48,431 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
