The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Wednesday night, announced 180 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-74, Oyo-41, FCT-19, Kaduna-19, Bauchi-12, Ogun-7, Rivers-4, Cross River-2 and Edo-2.
The agency said two new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,160 on Tuesday to 1,162 on Wednesday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 404 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 60,737 while 2,617 cases were still active in the country.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 64,516.
Total discharged case – 60,737.
Total deaths – 1,162.
