The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, announced 155 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-60, Katsina-37, Kaduna-35, FCT-6, Ogun-4, Edo-3, Kwara-3, Rivers-2, Kano-2, Jigawa-1, Oyo-1 and Taraba-1.
The agency said one new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,166 on Saturday to 1,167 Sunday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 192 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 62,076 while 3,140 cases were still active in the country.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 66,383.
