Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday night, announced 148 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 60,982 cases.
The agency said no new death occurred in the country in last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,116.
The data from the agency disclosed that 51 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,672 were still active cases while a total of 52,194 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-66, FCT-25, Oyo-13, Plateau-11, Kaduna-7, Rivers-6, Ebonyi-5, Ekiti-4, Ogun-4, Imo-2, Ondo-2. Edo-1, Nasarawa-1 and Taraba-1.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria- 60,982.
Total discharged cases- 52,194.
Total deaths- 1,116.
