The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Friday night, announced 143 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-70, Kaduna-25, FCT-22, Ogun-11, Plateau-4, Oyo-4, Ekiti-3, Osun-2, Edo-1 and Kano-1.
The agency said no new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,165.
The data from the agency disclosed that 209 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 61,782 while 3,035 cases were still active in the country.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 65,982.
