Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday night, announced 132 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 56,388 cases.
The agency also confirmed one death as the fatality figure increased from 1,082 on Sunday night to 1,083 on Monday night.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-52, Gombe-27, Plateau-17, Kwara-10, Enugu-9, Ogun-9, Katsina-3, Ekiti-2, Bauchi-1, Osun-1 and Rivers-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that there were 10,968 active cases while 44,337 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
