Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday night, announced 125 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 57,849 cases.
The agency said no new deaths were recorded in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure remained at 1,102.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-37, Plateau-18, FCT-17, Ogun-15, Rivers-10, Benue-7, Kaduna-7, Anambra-5, Oyo-3, Cross River-2, Ondo-2, Edo-1 and Imo-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that 113 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,649 were still active cases while a total of 49,098 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
