The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday night announced 119 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-77, FCT-26, Plateau-9, Edo-4, Oyo-2 and Nasarawa-1.
The agency said two new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,130 on Sunday to 1,132 on Monday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 106 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, while 3,408 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC said a total of 57,571 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
