The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday night announced 113 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-51, FCT-15, Plateau-11, Kaduna-8, Oyo-8, Rivers-8, Ogun-4, Edo-2, Imo-2, Kwara-2, Delta-1 and Kano-1.
The agency said three new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,132 on Monday to 1,135 on Tuesday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 345 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, while 3,173 cases were still active in the country.
The agency explained that discharges on Tuesday included 165 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with new case management guidelines.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria-62,224.
Total discharged cases- 57,916.
Total deaths- 1,135.
