Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Tuesday night, announced 118 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 59,583 cases.
For the third day running, the agency said there was no new death in the country, as the total fatality figure still stood at 1,113.
The data from the agency disclosed that 357 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,162 were still active cases while a total of 51,308 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-41, Rivers-19, Osun-17, Nasarawa-13, Kaduna-5, Anambra-5, Edo-3, Ogun-3
Kwara-3, Ondo-3, Katsina-2, Niger-2, Plateau-1 and Akwa Ibom-1.
