The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, announced 111 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-49, FCT-30, Rivers-11, Plateau-10, Ogun-4, Kaduna-3, Oyo-3 and Osun-1.
The agency said two new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,144 on Saturday to 1,146 on Sunday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 115 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, while 3,028 cases were still active in the country.
The agency explained that the Sunday report included 90 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with new case management guidelines.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria- 62,964.
Total discharged cases- 58,790.
Total deaths- 1,146.
