Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday night, announced 103 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 59,841 cases.
For the ffifth day running, the agency said there was no new death in the country, as the total fatality figure still stood at 1,113.
The data from the agency disclosed that 148 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,177 were still active cases while a total of 51,551 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-39, Rivers-21, FCT-19, Oyo-6, Kaduna-4, Bauchi-3, Ogun-3, Imo-2, Kano-2, Benue-1, Edo-1, Nasarawa-1 and Plateau-1.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria- 59,841.
Total discharged cases- 51,551 discharged.
Total deaths- 1,113.
