The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Thursday night, announced 168 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Kaduna had the highest record of the new cases with -74, FCT-42, Lagos-17, Kano-8, Ogun-6, Oyo-6, Rivers-6, Ekiti-3, Bauchi-3, Katsina-2, Delta-1 and Ondo-1.
The agency said no new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,169.
The data from the agency disclosed that 92 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 62,585 while 3,220 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC explained that the Thursday discharges included 74 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
