The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Tuesday night, announced 168 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that FCT had the highest record of the new cases with-61, Lagos-50, Kaduna-27, Oyo-12, Rivers-6, Katsina-5, Ogun-3, Kwara-2, Edo-1 and Kano-1.
The agency said one new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,168 on Monday to 1,169 on Tuesday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 70 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 62,241 while 3,127 cases were still active in the country.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 66,607.
Total discharged cases – 62,311.
Total deaths – 1,169.
