Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, announced 126 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 58,324 cases.
The agency also confirmed two new deaths in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,106 on Saturday night to 1,108 on Sunday night.
The health agency disclosed that FCT had the highest record of the new cases with-30, Lagos-24, Rivers-23, Ogun-13, Katsina-9, Plateau-9, Ondo-6, Kaduna-4, Kwara-4, Imo-2, Bauchi-1 and Edo-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that 72 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,422 were still active cases while a total of 49,794 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
