The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Wednesday night, announced 198 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that FCT had the highest record of the new cases with -53, Lagos-48, Ogun-40, Akwa Ibom-20, Bauchi-9, Plateau-8, Kaduna-5, Kano-4, Benue-3, Jigawa-3, Nasarawa-3, Edo-1 and Kwara-1.
The agency said no new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,169.
The data from the agency disclosed that 252 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 62,493 while 3,143 cases were still active in the country.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 66,805.
