Nigeria recorded 55 new COVID-19 infections on Friday (April 30, 2021) across eight states, according to data released by Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
NCDC, in its daily update, showed that the country had reached a total of 165,110 with the new infections.
Lagos had 21 new cases, while Yobe recorded 19 and Ogun 6.
The data further showed that Akwa Ibom had 3, while Kaduna and Plateau recorded 2.
Meanwhile, FCT and Rivers documented 1 new case apiece.
No death was recorded, as the total number of fatalities remained 2,063.
The nation now has a total number of 165, 110 confirmed cases, 155,101 discharged patients and 2,063 deaths.
