The Commissioner, Osun State Mnistry of Environment and Sanitation, Hon. Sola Oladepo has advised owners of private Schools, Tertiary Institutions, hospitals, churches, mosques, Police formations,banks, courts of justice including small and medium enterprises to contact the ministry for the decontamination of their premises in line with covid – 19 guidelines.
A release issued by the Commissioner clarified that it was only the Ministry of Environment and Sanitation that is authorised to decontaminate in accordance to the World Health Organization (W.H.O) standard, saying all fumigated places shall be given a certificate by the ministry.
While stating that the ministry should be contacted directly for the exercise,the release warned that no cash payment should be offered to anyone for the decontamination exercise.
