The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday night confirmed 229 cases of COVID-19 in the country.
According to the health agency, the new cases were recorded across 15 states and the FCT. The new cases brought the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 8,068 since the first case of the virus was detected in the country last February.
NCDC records also revealed that deaths figure increase from 226 on Sunday night to 233 on Monday night.
