COVID-19: Germany Donates N2.2bn To Nigeria

Germany has donated €5.5m to Nigeria to boost the nation’s response to the COVI-19 pandemic, the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Nigeria has said.

The money which amounts to approximately N2.2bn according to Morningstar converter, as at 3:49 p.m on Thursday is expected to help Nigeria cushion the effects of the pandemic.

The Nigerian government has received donations from different quarters with individuals, corporate organizations, groups and religious groups all contributions their part to the government.

Nigeria currently has 174 cases of COVID-19 and it is expected to rise in the coming days, according to the NCDC.
