An Oyo Stste High Court, presided over by Justice Muniru Olagunju, has sentenced a former official of First Bank, Oreoluwa Adesakin, to a cumulative 98-year jail term for stealing the bank’s funds..
Adesakin was caught and confirmed to have swindled the bank to the tunes of N49,320,652.32 and additional $368,203.
The Ibadan zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), prosecuted her on 14-count charges, bordering on stealing, forgery and fraudulent accounting.
