In order to have rapid development and to complement the efforts of the famous royal father, the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11 in promoting youths’ development, the youths of Akiriboto-Oke community have been enjoined to continue to keep the peace and support the new Ogboru of the community, Oba Adekanmi Adewale.
This was contained in a press statement issued and made available to journalists by the leader of the community, Chief Adebayo Oyewo, and the regent, Princess Omolara Oyinade Oyewo.
According to the statement in which the youths of Akiriboto-Oke community wete decribed as peace-loving and hard-working people, “this is the era of the youths in the area by having a learned and well exposed youth as the new traditional ruler being installed and crowned by the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi recently.
“The new Ogboru of Akiriboto-Oke community has concluded his plan to turn around the fortunes of the entire community with the support of both the youths and entire residents.”
The statement assured the youths of Oba Adewale’s readiness to promote their standard of living as well as banishing youths unemployment, artisans, farmers, students and aged people in Akiriboto-Oke community through the provision of loan facilities among others benefits.
“The main concern of Oba Adewale currently is to empower the entire residents of the community for them to get something done in order to develop not only the state but entire nation,” the statement added.
The statement which described Oba Adewale as a peace-loving, amiable, God-fearing and caring leader, enjoined the youths and entire residents to be law abiding, adding that, the new Ogboru of Akiriboto-Oke community would use his international connection to transform the area for the betterment of the people at large.
“With the unflinching support of the residents to the new Ogboru, Oba Adekanmi Adewale, Akiriboto-Oke community will be feeding the entire nation with its agricultural programme which would embarks upon in a shortest period of time while the community will be food basket of the nation” the statement concluded.
