The Commander 401 Special Forces (SF) Brigade, Brigadier General Samaila Uba in separate visits to some of the heads of security agencies within Benue State solicited for more synergy and cooperation with his Brigade.
General Uba who took turn to visit the Commissioner of Police, Comptroller Nigerian Immigration Service, Zonal Operations Officer Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps in their Makurdi offices, said though he has assumed command of the Brigade since November 2020 he has been in his tactical headquarters in Borno State with some of his battalions combating insurgency.
He said being an advocate of synergy and cooperation of inter agencies deemed it necessary to pay a courtesy visit on them and extend his hands of friendship and fellowship for the short period of one week he will be around.
He also said he had been briefed about the vital complementary roles they have played during exercise Ayem Akpatuma and, as such, the desire to call for more synergy and creation of avenues for young officers of the military and para-military to interact and know themselves better, which will help them to relate and communicate effectively during joint operations or exercises.
