Christ Embassy set to hold one-day prayer and healing crusade in Bayelsa

Christ Embassy, south south zone 1, Bayelsa State said all was now set for its crusade holding on the 3rd February, 2023 tagged: “Bayelsa prayer crusade” expected to galvanize Christians to pray in order to bring about Divine Healing upon the land of Bayelsa and Nigeria at large.

Speaking during a press conference held at the Church’s state headquarters, Yenagoa on Tuesday, its zonal Head of operations, Pastor (Mrs)Tokunbo Umeasiegbu, leading a team of clergy stated that the essence of the crusade was for intensive spiritual reawakening, fortification of citizens and residents of the state, as well as the state in its entirety.

She noted that even though the church had been holding regular intercessory prayers and crusades geared towards enabling the state and its citizens to achieve and reach their destined heights and purposes in life, “the forthcoming event promises to further lead to greater miracles and testimonies of the mighty works of God in the life of the people of the state on one hand, and the state in general, respectively.”

This was just as she harped that more often than known, the zonal pastor and chief host of the crusade, highly esteemed Pastor Obi Umeasiegbu and other clergy of the church had been holding intercessory prayers for the state, noting that the level of infrastructure development in the state in terms of existing and ongoing government projects were not just being executed without the church and others prayer for the peace and development of the state.

The Clergy said: “We’ve been praying for this state every day. That you now see an airport, the three Senatorial roads ongoing parallel, the peace we enjoy in the state, as well as other very significant Programmes and processes geared towards development of the state wasn’t by chance. It’s God that is directing the leadership of the state, through intercessory prayers of the church.

“Elections are coming next month, and so we need to pray for God to direct Bayelsans and Nigerians to elect God fearing leaders who have the interest of the state and nation at heart. This crusade is very special in many ways. One, this is the first time in the history of Christianity in this state that either Christ Embassy as a Ministry or any other one, would be having this type of special crusade tagged, ‘Bayelsa Prayer Crusade.”

The Pastor reiterated the impact of the church’s programmes in the state, advising would-be participants of the maiden prayer crusade to come with an expectant heart, saying God’s glory would not cease manifesting in the lives of the people of the state in their various pursuits.

Our correspondent reports that Christ Embassy, also known as Believers Love World, was founded by Nigeria’s popular televangelist, Pastor (Dr) Chris Oyakhilome more than three decades ago, and that the venue of the maiden ‘prayer crusade’ is the car-park arena, Bayelsa State Medical University, Imgbi road, Amarata, Yenagoa, the state capital.
Also speaking, the trio of pastors Lawrence Ehimare, Group pastor,w Christ Embassy Sunshine group of Churches, Bibi Alagha, group pastor, Christ Embassy Living spring Group of Churches, and Onyeka Okoli, Group pastor Christ Embassy Light House Group of Churches described the forthcoming event as another avenue for God to continue showering His blessings on Bayelsans.

They emphasized the need for all Bayelsans and residents alike to participate in the programme, noting that it is worthy of begining the year in communion with God, the creator of the universe, who has made all things possible for mankind, irrespective of trying times.
Other clergy, Nelson Tonye, Sarah Sam-Tarila, and pastor of the Christ Embassy teens ministry, Frank Oyovwe, have restated their Commitment towards ensuring a hitch-free event, calling on the general public to register online via ‘bayelsaprayercrusade.org or simply dial: *347*32*32# so as to be able to participate seamlessly in the forthcoming crusade, noting however that the reason for registration is mainly to enable the ministry reserve participants seats at the Programme.
