Nollywood actress Chika Ike has dismissed rumours linking billionaire Ned Nwoko to her pregnancy, labelling the speculation as false and baseless.
Rumours began to do the rounds after Ike shared her pregnancy announcement through maternity photos on social media.
The speculations became rife when actress Regina Daniels, who is married to Nwoko, reportedly deactivated her Instagram account.
Reacting to the claims on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Ike expressed frustration over the constant media scrutiny of her personal life but stated that she had previously chosen to ignore such rumours until now.
She, nevertheless, denied any connection between Nwoko and her child.
She said that Nwoko was not the father of her child in the womb.
She also emphasized that she had no intention of becoming anyone’s seventh wife.

“There have been all sorts of lies paddled about me in the media for years, but I always treated them like what they are, RUMOURS THAT NEEDED NO RESPONSE.

“Ned isn’t the Father of my child and whoever name you might come up with later with your guessing games, and like I’ve said before I’m not about to be anyone’s 7th wife! Polygamy isn’t for me .
“I’ve been pregnant for months now and no one even had a clue about my pregnancy until I announced it and you all think you’ll know who the father of my child is or anything happening in my life? Very laughable and clueless!
