On that occasion, the late Obasogie who had the gift of the garb, was dressed in sparkling white Benin native attires as he was wont to do. Indeed, in addition to his gift of the garb was his sartorial elegance.
He was a renowned dispute resolution officer,.
He had a distinctive record as the Chairman, Edo State Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission and the State Petroleum Monitoring Committee.
The late Obasogie was also an international businessman, iconic figure and quintessential cultural diplomat.
A formal announcement had yet to be made by the Palace of the Oba of Benin as of the time of this report.
