The Corporate Affairs and Information Department (CAI) of the National Productivity Centre (NPC) has initiated a training programme for youth corps members entitled: “Basic Productivity Tools and Techniques.”
This training is being conducted at various camps across the country.
The primary objective of this new initiative is to equip corps members with essential skills for self-sustainability and self-reliance.
The focus is on empowering them to develop contemporary proficiencies in entrepreneurship as well as small and medium-scale business management.
The event recently took place at the Kubwa NYSC orientation camp in Abuja.
The training was spearheaded by Hajiya Maimuna Adaji, the newly appointed Director/Head of the Corporate Affairs and Information Department.
During the event, Hajiya Maimuna Adaji delivered a lecture, stressing the importance of embracing a culture of productivity both during their time at the camp and in their daily lives.
She encouraged the corps members to tap into their potential after completing their service by adopting a mindset of productivity.
Mr. Victor Ainoko, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the National Productivity Centre, engaged with the corps members.
He emphasized the significance of creating value and cultivating a consciousness of productivity in their daily endeavors.
He highlighted the importance of continuous improvement in their work ethics, personal lives, and contributions to society at large.
In addition to the training, the team also had an interactive session with the FCT NYSC Coordinator, where they exchanged essential insights on the fundamentals of productivity.
