President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The meeting started around 11 am at the Council chamber of the Presidential Villa.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and Acting Head of Service of the Federation, Folasade Yemi-Esan, among others, were at the meeting.
President Buhari, according to indications, may have to leave for South Africa on a three-day state visit either mid-way into the meeting or at the end of it. If he has to leave mid-way, Vice President Osinbajo will have to step in to preside.
The meeting was still in progress as of the time of this report.
