Five new permanent secretaries have been appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to join the elite cadre in the Federal Civil Service.
The five were successful in the recent three-stage exams and assessments that qualified them for the much-sought after elevation.
Those promoted are Adebiyi Olusesan Olufunso (Ekiti), Onwundiwe Maryam Ngozi (Enugu), Yusuf Ibrahim Idris (Katsina), Ogunbiyi Marcus Olaniyi (Lagos) and Ibrahim Abubakar Kana (Nasarawa).
Their promotion was announced on Friday by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan.
A statement by the Director (Press and Public Relations) in the office of the Head of Service of the Federation, AbdulĢaniyu Aminu said the date of their swearing in would be announced in due course.
