The Governor Mai Mala Buni-led National Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been granted another extension of tenure for six months.
The decision was taken after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday morning.
It was learnt that Caretaker Committees from the Ward, Local government and state levels would be phased out gradually immediately substantive executives emerge at the respective levels.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the party will, however, release the timetable for the congresses on Friday, according to a competent source. (Credit: BluePrint)
