The Bishop of Kubwa Diocese, Rt. Rev’d Duke Akamisoko, has lauded Primate Henry Ndukuba’s leadership, courage, clarity, and conviction in defending orthodox Anglican doctrine on the global stage.
Akamisoko made the remarks on Wednesday in Abuja, while speaking at a solemn Holy Communion Service marking Ndukuba’s six-year anniversary as Archbishop, Metropolitan, and Primate of All Nigeria.
In his sermon titled “Celebrating God’s Goodness,” the Bishop of Kubwa Diocese, urged the faithful to remain grateful for divine faithfulness.
Akamisoko said that the Primate had demonstrated steadfastness in strengthening the family unit and defending orthodox Anglican doctrine on the global stage through the GAFCON movement.
The bishop said Ndukuba had shown leadership in navigating global ecclesiastical challenges.

“Ndukuba, who was enthroned on March 25, 2020, during the peak of the global COVID-19 pandemic, has his leadership since been defined by his “Decade of the Reign of God” vision, focusing on spiritual renewal and national transformation.
“The Primate has shown leadership in navigating global ecclesiastical challenges, preserving the doctrinal integrity of the Church of Nigeria amidst shifting theological trends worldwide,” he said

Reading from Psalm 105, the preacher highlighted the Primate’s physical well-being and “journey mercies” during extensive pastoral travels as evidence of God’s sustaining grace
Akamisoko noted evidence of God’s sustaining grace in the primate’s life, and commended his steadfastness in strengthening the family unit.
The Bishop noted the expansion of the Church through the creation of new dioceses, attributing it to Ndukuba’s effective administration and spiritual vitality.
“Ndukuba’s tenure has been marked by integrity, ensuring no Anglican will be ashamed of the denomination’s current direction,” Akamisoko added.
In his remarks, Primate Ndukuba expressed gratitude for the prayers of the members and the grace of God over the past six years.
“We return all glory to God for His faithfulness,” the Primate said.
The event drew notable dignitaries, including Prof. Jerry Gana, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, and several bishops, including Rt. Rev’d Paul Samuel Zamani (Kwoi), and Rt. Rev’d Moses Tabwaye (Gwagwalada).
Also in attendance was the Registrar of the Church, Mrs Kehinde Ajoni.
