I felicitate a unique brother and friend today, Emmanuel Osayande Oriakhi, a man sent by the creator to uplift men and women.
It is true that the two most important days in our lives are the day we were born and the day we find out why. Birthdays are on their own, a constant reminder of the purpose behind our existence. It is really not about the counting of the years. Like Satchel Paige wrote, “Age is a case of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it don’t matter.”
You are one of those, Emma, who I can emphatically say, have really lived; a reason why millions of your family and friends today celebrate not just the years in your life but also the life in your years even as I now wish you, like a Phoenix, a renewed vigour in your existence.
Your life has been purposeful and meaningful as you have positively affected every facet of the society with your presence and infected those you come across with your lively and ecstatic disposition.
No matter how blessed our lives and how charmed our existence, things might still irrevocably and irreversibly go wrong, and, having your kind of person as a friend, makes all the difference. There is such a soothing feature about your personality that resuscitates a rather hopeless situation and such mildness about your person that accommodates no pessimism.
You have been a friend and a brother and it is my prayer for you today that you enjoy longevity. Even as you age, may you not wither but grow stronger. May life circumstances and vicissitudes play to your advantage and may the eyes of evil be blinded towards you the same way deep roots can never be reached by the frost.
Once again, Happy Birthday my brother my friend, my hero and an eminent member of the class of *A FEW GOOD MEN* keep being you my bro, posterity will be kind you. When others are increasing the height of their walls, you’re extending the length of your bridge and dinning table. You were created for a reason, the fourth of seven kids, you’re right in the middle, the middle is where the load is, without the middle things will naturally fall apart… you must know God created you for a purpose and you’re fulfilling your destiny ala purpose.
May you continue to be the possessor of all that is irrevocably called wonderfull.
Enjoy it.
