The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa has assured staff members that he would run an open-door policy.
He said that having been a part of the system, he knew and understood the terrain, the administrative infrastructure and challenges of the Commission.
Bawa assured staff members as part of his settling in the leadership saddle as the new Chairman.
He said that as a mark of his sincerity of purpose, he was making his personal phone number available to all staff members.
Bawa said he would be receptive to ideas that would take the Commission to new heights.
He therefore appealed to the staff members to remain disciplined and dedicated to their duties.
He stated that all members of staff were important in the fight against corruption, adding: “So, I invite everyone to bring ideas and best practices that will help to organize and recalibrate the Commission in order to make it a better place.”
He promised to prioritize the welfare of staff members as well as systems improvement through application of digital technology and intelligence during his tenure.
Bawa also reportedly visited the Abuja Zonal Office and the EFCC Academy where he equally met with staff members of the agency.
