Lamine Yamal has denied that he attempted to meet an adult film actress, while a debate has erupted in the Spanish media about who actually prevented a possible meeting between the 17-year-old and the 29-year-old.
The Barcelona star has become one of the most talked-about names in football in recent months, thanks to impressive performances with both club and Spain.
During the off-season, Yamal has been taking advantage of the time to relax. He is currently in Rio de Janeiro with his idol, Neymar, while he was previously seen on vacation with a woman 12 years his senior.
Recently, just a few days after the publication of several photos of Yamal with OnlyFans model Fati Vazquez, he has been involved in another sensitive story – this time with another model Claudia Bavel.
On the Spanish television show TardeAR, an “off-camera” conversation with Yamal was broadcast, where he stated that he had not met with Bavel because he was “not interested” in communicating with him.
The show’s journalist, Álex Álvarez, further added that there had been allegations that Claudia Bavel was planning to hire a photographer to take pictures of a possible meeting with Yamal, with the intention of selling them later.
Yamal denied everything, adding that such a thing would not have been possible because he lives with his mother, who does not allow strangers in the house.
But Claudia Bavel herself reacted publicly on social media, giving her version of the event.
The model, who was also a guest on the TardeAR show on Friday night, addressed her followers (259,000 on Instagram) with this message:
“I chose not to speak publicly about this matter during 2025. But after Lamine Yamal mentioned our alleged relationship on TardeAR, I find it appropriate to share my version with clarity and respect.
“He claims to live with his mother, but in reality he lives alone. He says he rejected me, while he was the one who asked for my contact and insisted on meeting. He denies that we have ever met, although we have run into each other at several social events.”
“With respect, I ask that the insulting and defamatory messages stop. I have NEVER had a relationship with a minor, I have not organised any meetings, and there was no plan for fame or financial gain.”
“The only thing we agree on with Lamine is that no meeting or situation between us ever happened. Behind the headlines and public opinion, there are real people. Out of respect, I ask for understanding and restraint.”
