Bandits, operating in Zamfara State, have shot dead a senior secondary school teacher.
The teacher, Tukur Kurma, was killed on Tuesday evening when bandits shot at commuters on Tashar Taya, Danzaure axis of Anka-Dakitwakwas-Gummi Highway.
A witness said the driver of the vehicle along with other drivers refused to stop when the bandits flagged them down.
Until his death, Kurma was History teacher at the Government Day Secondary School, Gummi in Zamfara.
