The Management and Staff members of The AUTHORITY Newspapers have announced the death of their Executive Director (Publications), Chief (Sir) Joe Nwankwo
In a statement, the Newspaper Executive Director (Business Development), Chuks Akunna, said Joe Nwankwo worked in several media houses including Daily Times, The Sun, Daily Independent, before becoming one of the founding Directors of The AUTHORITY.
Akunna said Nwankwo rose through the ranks of journalism profession to the position of Executive Director, The Authority Newspapers.
He died after a brief illness in Abuja, aged 50.
Nwankwo is survived by his wife and three children.
Akunna said his burial arrangements would be announced by the family.
