21-year-old Jannik Sinner on Friday morning dumped World No 1, Novak Djokovic in the first semi final match of the Australian Open to book his first grand slam final.
He dispatched Djokovic in three sets to one: 6-1, 6-3, 6-7 and 6-3.
Sinner dropped only a set since the championship began. Save Djokovic, he had beaten all his opponents in straight sets.
He usvwsiting fid the second semi final match between Dani Medvedev and Alexander Zerev who beat the Airld No 2 Carlos Alcaraz to set up the semi final encounter with Medvedev.
