The Court of Appeal has declared Austin Okwudiri Akobundu of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] as winner of Abia Central Senatorial Zone election.
The Court returned him as the winner at the expense of
Darlington Nwokocha of the Labour Party [LP].
Darlington Nwokocha of the Labour Party, (LP) was earlier declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).
Akobundu, a retired army Colonel, was immediate past National Organising Secretary, (NOS), of the PDP.
