At the just successfully concluded Presidential flag off rally, held in Jos, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was quoted to have said “GOD BLESS PD” before saying “GOD BLESS APC.”
I never heard him say “GOD BLESS PDP” as had been erroneously misinterpreted in some news portals and by some mischievous commentators.
Now the meaning of “PD: is simply “POTENT DEMOCRACY.”
Having been forged in the furnace of democratic struggles over the years, what was wrong in apotheosising and paying glowing tributes to the “Potency of Democracy” on such an occasion?
So all Asiwaju said and meant was “GOD BLESS THE POTENCY OF DEMOCRACY…GOD BLESS APC”; but as always, he has been misinterpreted again.
