Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has won the Premier League Manager of the Month after guiding the club to the division’s only 100% record in March.

The Premier League announced the winner of the monthly award on Friday.

Arteta was selected as the winner by a panel of experts and supporters, edging out competition from Newcastle’s Eddie Howe, Everton’s David Moyes, Sunderland’s Regis Le Bris, and Brighton’s Fabian Hurzeler.

It is the first time Arteta has won the divisional award since February 2024, and his eighth since becoming Arsenal manager in December 2019.

Only five other managers in the league’s history have scooped the accolade more than the Gunners boss – Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Pep Guardiola, Moyes, and Jurgen Klopp.

Victories against Chelsea, Brighton, and Everton meant that the Gunners were the only team in the division to win all their Premier League games in March, which allowed the club to open up a nine-point gap to Manchester City in second place.
