In a recent meticulously executed operation, Nigerian Army troops, in collaboration with local vigilantes, have successfully eradicated a significant terrorist threat operating under the guise of a law enforcement officer within Sokoto.
This individual had been exploiting his assumed authority to perpetrate egregious crimes, including abduction and deception.
Confirming this operation, Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Army Public Relations, affirmed that the violent extremist met his end on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, following a meticulously planned and intelligence-driven maneuver by the troops.
Employing sophisticated disguise tactics, the terrorist had deceived unsuspecting victims before being intercepted and neutralized in a confrontation with our forces.
