The Nigerian Army said it was not looking for Celebrity Disk Jockey (DJ), Catherine Udeh, aka DJ Switch.
Brigadier-General Ahmed Ibrahim Taiwo, who testified before the panel, said the claim of threat to her life along with other related issues was false.
According to him, “DJ Switch claimed the Army was looking for her. Nothing could be further from the truth. We have bigger fish to fry. That is, how to stabilise Lagos.
He told the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Enquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS related abuses and other matters that the Army had neither threatened nor was after any #EndSARS protesters.
She had live-streamed the Lekki shooting via Instagram and alleged that some protesters were shot and that some victims were taken away by the army, a charge the military had since denied. (Additional information and image-TNG)
