Armed robbers attack Ayefele’s radio station in Ibadan

Armed robbers have attacked Fresh FM, a radio station belonging to veteran Nigerian singer, Yinka Ayefele, in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Reports said that the radio station was attacked by the armed robbers in the early hours of Sunday.

A staff member of Fresh FM, Abolade Salami, during his programme, “Agbo Oselu”, said the assailants invaded the station about 6 am with firearms and carted away valuables belonging to the members of the staff on duty.

Another staff member of the radio station also confirmed the attack, saying: “Yes it happened. There waa no fatality.”
