Aregbesola commends Hajiya Aisha Rufai on dedication, commitment to service

The Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has celebrated the Secretary/ Director of the CDCFIB Hajiya Aisha Rufai on her dedication and commitment to service that has resulted in the excellent remodeling and beautiful edifice that has been inaugurated.

Aregbesola stated this while inaugurating and inspecting the remodeled Board Secretariat, Board and Conference Room at the CDCFIB Complex in Abuja.

According to the Minister, “we are here to celebrate dedication and commitment of Hajiya Aisha Rufai the Secretary of the CDCFIB Services Board.”

“This goes to show that the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation has resource personnel of which Hajiya Aisha Rufai is an example,” the minister said.

The minister said he hoped that among these dedicated staff members, the Civil Service of the Federation might wish to assign higher responsibility.

Aregbesola said that a well “befitting working environment motivates officers to be more productive, putting in their best.

The minister also noted that “whatever transformation we see today is as a result of Mrs Rufai’s commitment to make the best use of the little resources within her disposal.”

Aregbesola said: “She has taken a Camel through the eye of a needle that is, she has achieved so much from very little and l commend her.”

Aregbesola also said that “the future of our society depends on women because of their leadership qualities, dedication and capacity of commitment to responsibility which women possess as examplified in Mrs Rufai.

“This is a role model of innate inspiration, dedication and commitment of women in Nigeria.”

Earlier in her welcome remarks, the Secretary/Director of the Board, Hajiya Aisha Rufai commended the Minister and Chairman of the Board, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Chairman House Committee on Interior. Hon. Sani Zangon Daura, the Perm. Sec. Dr Shuaib Belgore, the CGs of the four Agencies under the Ministry’s supervision and the entire Interior staff members that made the remodeling of the building project possible.

The Permanent Secretary, Dr Shuaib Belgore noted that it was difficult sourcing for funds to ensure that this project was completed within the stipulated time.

He said: “it is also worthy of note that most of the jobs were done through direct Labour to cut cost due to the lean fund available.

“What we have seen here is evidence of good work and l therefore heartily congratulate the Minister of Interior, all the Board Members that made this a reality.”
