Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Dr Solomon Arase, a retired Inspector General of Police, has issued a New Year message calling for a renewed commitment to national service as Nigerians enter into the new year.

According to Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani Dr. Arase in his address, extended commendations to the dedicated staff of the Commission and the men and officers of the Nigeria Police Force for their unwavering sacrifices in the line of duty.

He acknowledged their pivotal role in maintaining national cohesion and ensuring relative peace across the country.

While praising the commitment of Nigeria Police Officers, Dr. Arase urged for an even greater dedication in the upcoming year.

He said that the Commission would prioritize the welfare of officers, viewing it as a means to motivate and enhance service delivery throughout the force.

The PSC Chairman said he was committed to maintaining regular and predictable promotions for officers, emphasizing the Commission’s determination to restore the allure of police work in Nigeria.
