A former Inspector-General of Police, Dr Solomon Arase has paid a glowing tribute to Seriki Musulumi of Afenmai land in Edo State, Senator Yisa Braimoh on the occasion of his 80th birthday, which comes up on Friday, August 12, 2022.
The tribute was contained in a letter by Dr Arase to Senator Braimoh, dated August 6, 2022.
Read Arase: “I write on behalf of my family to heartily felicitate with you as you deservedly celebrate your 80th Birthday Anniversary.
“Without an Iota of doubt, you are worth celebrating. This is not just because of your resilience in navigating through the murky path of life but because of the unique touch to which you do so.
“Indeed, your brilliance in the articulation of governance, public administration and political engineering is remarkable.
“Beyond this, your de-tribalised disposition, patriotism, broad national reach, humility selflessness, principles, and firm vision for a strong and prosperous nation stand you out as a national revelation, an indefatigable icon and worthy reference point in the discourse on true leadership. All these make your life worth celebrating.
“Your birthday therefore, provides a rare opportunity not only to celebrate you, but also to reflect and acknowledge the graciousness of the Almighty in your life. On this special occasion, it is my prayer that God continues to enrich your coast, perfect your ways and continually grant you good health needed to sustain and advance you.”
