In a significant development aimed at enhancing internal security measures in Nigeria, the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Dr. Solomon Arase, CFR, a retired Inspector General of Police, announced today the consolidation of relations between the Commission and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). This announcement came as Dr. Arase led the Management team of the Commission in welcoming the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, and his team to the Commission’s Corporate Headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.
In a statement released by Ikechukwu Ani, the Head of Press and Public Relations at the PSC, Dr. Arase emphasized the successful stabilization of the relationship between the two institutions, highlighting their shared commitment to the nation’s internal security.
