Apologetic Mmesoma Ejikeme’s dad shows remorse, says my daughter lied to me initially (video)

Mr. Romanus Ejikeme, the father to Mmesoma Ejikeme, has tendered an apology in the aftermath of his daughter admittance that she personally manipulated her UTME JAMB) results.

Obviously, Mmesoma had fed her unsuspecting father with the story of her scoring the highest mark-362- in this year’s UTME.

The father had held unto and run with the lie and had stuck out his neck in defence of his daughter.

Romanus Ejikeme’s volte face came on the heels of the report by the committee set up by Gov. Chukwuma Soludo to investigate the alleged falsification of results of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The committee had exposed how the teenager forged her UTME results.

The panel, in a report addressed to the Governor on Friday, said that it reviewed Mmesoma ‘s JAMB results and conducted interviews with relevant parties, including JAMB officials and other individuals involved.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), had accused her of using a software to manipulate her score to 362 as against 249, which she actually scored.

“My daughter has been taking the first position from her nursery school till now. Some of these results are still with me and I have shown them to some journalists who came to my house and they were surprised.

“I showed her results to them and they were like wow. Those who have met with her will know she can’t manipulate results.

“I am just explaining to the world that my daughter’s result has been manipulated. I am not happy about it, they gave her result to another person and they are still intimidating her. What they are doing is not good” the father had said earlier.

Mmesoma has now admitted to have manipulated her UTME results, deceiving the school, her immediate family, and the state government.

The father, Romanus Ejikeme has tendered an unreserved apology to JAMB and Nigerians for the unfortunate saga.
