Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo has emerged as the gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming November 8, 2025 election in the state.
Soludo emerged candidate in a primary election conducted by the party leadership on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
The excercise was conducted at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, by a 5-man Electoral Committee headed by Chief Uche Nwegbo (Deputy National Chairman, South).
Representatives of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) witnessed the exercise.
3,260 delegates participated in the primary election. They unanimously settled for Soludo as their preferred candidate.
The party’s leadership was praised for its commitment to peaceful and stable politics, with the screening process conducted without any rancour or controversy.
